Glasgow Central: Britannia 70003 'John Bunyan' ready to leave Glasgow Central with the summer Friday and Saturday only 2.00pm for Liverpool on 8th July 1966.

Kensington Olympia: 377704 adds some colour to a grey 13th March 2024 in West London at Kensington Olympia.

Methil: Methil station closed to passengers on 10/01/1955 but the goods yard, which was on the other side of the building ( see image 58664 ), remained open until into the 1980s. No date for this photograph but 1969 is more than likely.

Stirling: The 1445 ScotRail service from Alloa to Glasgow Queen Street about to restart from Stirling platform 9 on the afternoon of 28 August 2015.

Lassodie Mill Colliery: The site of Lassodie Mill Colliery in a view looking west, with the partly landscaped former mineral line on the left running from top to bottom. The mine was served by a loop with sidings making a connection to the east end of the loop. The sidings ran from lower left to the far right, their course is not obvious. The large clumb of trees closer to the camera is, of course, the bing.

St Erth: Looking east at St Erth with the St Ives branch diverging to the left. The semaphore signals disappeared with resignalling in 2024.

Dalgety Bay: Great to see 60532 'Blue Peter' back in action in 2024. Here it is passing Dalgety Bay in 1999.

Brighouse: After a 30 year closure period Brighouse was rebuilt and reopened in 2000. Since then additional services have been added and it now sees hourly trains between Manchester and Leeds, hourly trains between Huddersfield and Bradford, and several Grand Central daily services to and from Kings Cross. 180106 calls on 16th March 2024 heading for Bradford Interchange.
