Inverkeithing South Junction: 158726 and 158738, forming the 11.35 from Edinburgh to Perth, pass Inverkeithing South Junction on 1st April 2024. The crossing from the Rosyth Dockyard turnout has been removed very recently.

Bo'ness: Beckton No.1, Neilson & Co. 1561 of 1870, safely installed in the Museum of Scottish Railways on 31st March 2024. It has been transferred from Penrhyn Castle Industrial Railway Museum, Gwynedd, Wales after it was decided to concentrate on local exhibits.

Glencruitten Crossing: With the Driving Second Brake Open (DSBO) leading and the propelling Class 47 47712 visible and working hard at the rear, the 'West of Scotland Push-Pull Tour' approaches the crossing at Achnalarig, close to Glencruitten Summit on 30 March 2024.

Lassodie Mill Colliery: View west taken at the east end of the loop for Lassodie Mill Colliery. The 'main line' was to the left of the fence and colliery exchange sidings to its right, both parallel to the fence, and the sidings which ran north to the pit head curving off to the right.

Bellgrove: 334035 calls at Bellgrove with the 10.36 Milngavie - Springburn on a sunny 18th March 2024. In the background can be seen some of the remaining buildings of what was Glasgow Cattle Market, latterly used for car auctions.

Hardengreen Viaduct: Looking south west over Hardengreen Roundabout on 10 May 2013. The roundabout, a bi-product of a major re-routing of the A7 trank road, was accommodated by removing a section of the embankment that once carried the Waverley Route between Eskbank and Newtongrange. This gap was subequently spanned by Hardengreen Viaduct, which now carries the Borders Railway. For the same view 3 years later see image [[54974]].
