Valparaiso Puerto: An elevated view of the Puerto terminus of the Valparaiso Metro system, with the front coach of an EMU emerging from the covered area. In the foreground are the currently unused dockside railway tracks, leading to the container area where at present only road vehicles are in use. In the middle of the picture is the upper section of the Ascensor Concepion, one of seven still operational funiculars, can be seen with some of the residential areas of the city on the hills behind.

Aberglaslyn Short Tunnels: UK Railtours' chartered through train from Blaenau Ffestiniog to Caernarfon, now on the Welsh Highland Railway behind WHR locomotive no. 143, on the southern approach to Beddgelert in the Pass of Aberglaslyn, on 6th April 2019. Back in 1965 when a boy on a family holiday, we walked along here and through the tunnels when the then disused line was a rough footpath. Never in my wildest dreams back then did I imagine that the entire line would be rebuilt, decades later, and that I would get to ride on it.
