Valparaiso Puerto
The blue hotel on the left sits above the Port terminus of the Valparaiso Metro system, which runs for 45km from here along the coast and then inland to Lamancha. Unfortunately, freight traffic on Chilean Railways has been run down in recent years and the rails into this busy container port were disused while long queues of road trucks waited to take containers out one at a time.
