Lilliehill Upper Junction

There are quite a few former railways in this view of Lilliehill Junction, which looks south west. The first railway was the West of Fife Mineral Railway's 1858 route from Whitemyre Junction to Steelend - distant top centre to the middle of the view and off to the right. Not long afterwards that company's line to Kingseat opened - middle of the view to bottom middle. On the left can be seen the curve of the short branch Muircockhall Colliery - bottom centre and off to the left. More distant is the North British's 1880 line from Lilliehill to Townhill - distant in this view and curving off to the left.
