Sculcoates Goods
The goods yard at Sculcoates, Hull was used by Drapers as a scrapyard and quite a number of BR steam and some diesel locomotives met their end there. D2614 was built by Hunslet and according to BR Database entered service at Goole in February 1961 and was withdrawn from the same location in March 1967. It is recorded as having been cut up in June 1967. I have this shot as taken in October 1967 but this may be incorrect. Only D2554 survived long enough to become the single 05 in BR stock.
