![Seen beyond the deck of the Tyne Bridge a Northern Class 156 Sprinter, on a short working from Newcastle to Metro Centre, sets out across the High Level Bridge on 26th June 2017. ![There would undoubtedly be an outcry today if it was suggested that a new transport network was driven through the city walls which can be seen was the case here when the High Level Bridge was constructed in 1849.
