Hillfoot

Hillfoot is named after the "Hillfoot row" which was a group of cottages on the Kilmardinny estate. Hillfoot may be regarded as another expansion of Bearsden. Portions of the ramparts of the Roman fort at Bearsden were still visible near Hillfoot until 1870.
