From Edinburgh to central Leith. The line was built double track.

London Road Junction

Top

This was a south facing junction with the Abbeyhill fork of the diversion line of the Edinburgh, Leith and Newhaven Railway. This junction was used by trains from the east end of the Edinburgh Suburban and Southside Junction Suburban Railway to Leith Central.

Lochend South Junction

This was an east facing junction with the Piershill fork of the diversion line of the Edinburgh, Leith and Newhaven Railway. This junction was used by trains from Edinburgh Waverley to Leith Central.

Lochend North Junction

This was a notrh facing junction between the lines from London Road Junction and lines from Lochend South Junction.

Easter Road Park Halt

This halt was built in a cutting nearby the Lochend North Junction and beside Easter Road Stadium. The cutting is now largely infilled.

This very large terminus has been demolished. The terminus had four platforms and was latterly used as a DMU depot and DMU driving training centre. The site is now occupied by a supermarket.
