This line runs through farmland. Dornoch is the only town served. At 'The Mound' the line runs along a dyke along with a former military road.
From Dornoch to The Mound (near Golspie).
This was a station on the Sutherland Railway.
The disused platform can be found in bushes by the former level crossing here.
Only the platform remains at this station.
The site of this station has been partly landscaped.
This station had a locomotive shed, now demolished. The passenger station building remains in a good state of preservation and with the platform.
