The line from Perth and the line from Gleneagles ran parallel for some distance before meeting immediately east of Crieff station. To the west of this junction was the original Crieff station and to its north the through Crieff station. To the north of the junction were locomotive sheds for the Perth, Gleneagles and Comrie companies. (Crieff Junction Railway)
