This line runs through fairly level farmland to Crieff from Gleneagles by Auchterarder. The Highlandman area got its name from the drovers who used to pause here with thier cattle while driving the cattle south along the drove road.
This railway ran from Gleneagles (near Aucherarder) to Crieff.
Crieff had a sizeable station. The station had two platforms and a through road - 3 tracks between the platforms (now a supermarket carpark and ambulance depot). To the west the line continued as the Crieff and Comrie Railway and to the east the line split, one part going to Perth and the other to Gleneagles. The station had an extensive goods yard (now rough land) immediately to the south which was approached from an east facing junction. The station was controlled by a large standard Caledonian Railway signalbox to the east of a road overbridge. To the north of the signalbox were locomotive sheds which were approached from the east (now a housing estate).

This station was named for the area in which it was. The area is named such because Drover's (men driving cattle to market) often used to stop here overnight as there was plenty of grazing land and water. A market operated in Crieff.
The station site has been cleared but the route of the former line is still obvious.
This station still stands although the line is closed. It consisted of a single platform (down the east side of the track) with a building and a goods siding and loading bank to the north of the site. To the south of the station the railway crossed a road. This bridge has been removed.
The platform, building and loading bank are all intact. There is a well-worn set of steps leading up to the platform.
The station is now a private house.
To the east is Tullibardine Chapel which is preserved by Historic Scotland. The station was named for the chapel and surrounding area.
This was a short branch serving the Hotel at Gleneagles. The branch was not open for passengers. The Hotel was a railway hotel.
