This line is open. The line is now known as the "Cathcart Circle". There is an electric passenger train service provided around the circle, from Glasgow Central and back to it. |

This line is in the south of Glasgow. It runs through a residential area consisting mostly of tenement housing.
From Pollokshields to Cathcart, later extended by another route back to Pollokshields.

This is an island platform station. The station was re-glazed in the late 1980s.
Cathcart North Junction?

Cathcart (Old)
This was the original terminus of the line before it was extended west and then north to Glasgow Central. Nothing now remains of the old station.
Cathcart West Junction
Here the line is met by the Lanarkshire
and Ayrshire Railway at a junction which faces both east (for for Neilston) and west (for Newton). The junction was been re-aligned when the lines were electrified to allow running to Neilston and Newton from the Cathcart Circle.
