Carmarthen and Cardigan Railway 

This line is closed save two portions; Carmarthen station and approaches and a portion is preserved between Bronwydd and Llanfan Cerrig. This line is being extended in the Conwil direction. The railway never reached as far as Cardigan.

From Carmarthen to Newcastle Emlyn.

The Carmarthen and Cardigan Railway only built the line to Llandysul, not the rest to Newcastle Emlyn - this portion was added by the Great Western Railway later in 1895. [With thanks to Michael Martin of the Gwili Railway].
