This is an area of farmed land to the north of Perth.
From Strathord Junction to Bankfoot. Much of the route is now difficult to discern, some of it now being encroached on by roads and some having been ploughed through by farmers.
This junction was the end point of the Bankfoot Light Railway. The junction was with the Scottish Midland Junction Railway just North of Strathord Station.
There was a locomotive shed here to the East end of the station and the North side of the track. The shed was single ended and the tracks faced the station.
The station consisted of a single platform with a wooden building. Opposite the platform were a number of goods handling sidings and goods shed.
This station survived closure for many years (until the late 1980s), the site operating as a caravan site. However the site is now a housing estate.
